In our house, December is chock full o' holidays. G is Jewish and so we celebrate Hannukah with her family. And I am not, so we celebrate Christmas with mine. Last year was our first year with a proper full sized Christmas tree. And tonight, we celebrated the crazy winter storm Toronto was hit with trimming our tree. We do not have a Hannukah bush or any such thing. We have a Christmas tree, but the tree is full of blue, silver and grey ornaments in the spirit of Hannukah. Go us.
(The top of our tree is an Eiffel Tower, as a reminder of our fifth anniversary trip to France.)
